It has an anti drain back valve in the bottom to help with lifter leak down and it also has finer holes in the filter material to keep the oil pressure up. If you look under your van and see a white or orange or yellow or blue filter, you need to get rid of that and get a black filter from the Fatherland! A cheap oil filter can be the cause of low oil pressure when hot.
